Yan Chin

Dr. Chin graduated from Swarthmore College with a degree in biochemistry, completed medical school at UC Davis, and earned a master’s degree in public health from UC Berkeley.
Dr. Chin graduated from Swarthmore College with a degree in biochemistry, completed medical school at UC Davis, and earned a master’s degree in public health from UC Berkeley.
Dr. Chin joined Private Medical during its formative years in an effort to forge a more patient-centric pediatric care experience. In addition to overseeing pediatrics for Private Medical, he plays a leadership role in the American Academy of Pediatrics’ efforts to improve children’s environmental health. Dr. Chin has also done public health work in developing countries, including Liberia and Thailand. He loves doting on his two children and enjoys tennis, running, and opera.
